Pre-Concussion Baseline Testing Link
A pre-concussion baseline test is a short online cognitive test that captures one’s mental reaction time and thinking skills before a concussion. It is best completed before an injury so that it can be done again after the concussion has healed to evaluate whether the player is back to pre-concussion mental ability. Below is a link to a neurologist that offers the simple online IMPACT test that can be done at home for $20. The Austin schools, both public and private including all AISD high schools, which already use this particular test are listed on the website. The website lists the following sports that are getting national encouragement for baseline testing: Football, Hockey, Figure Skating, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Rugby, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Diving, Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Horseback Riding, Skateboarding, and Snow Skiing. Not to mention any type of moving vehicle accident. The board is offering the following link as a convenience because a board member used them last year. However, any baseline of your choice will be a nice thing to have for peace of mind. www.sportssafect.com
PE Credit for Spring Lacrosse
We are working with Coach Andrew Gephart to coordinate the PE credit for Spring Lacrosse. We want to make sure that everyone knows that this is available. If you are interested in participating, please email Tracy at tracyhsolomon@gmail.com. We have begun a list of names of those who have signed up so far. The cost will be around $60 for each student. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Randall's Remarkable Card
Our organization has been set up to receive 1% in donations from our Randall's purchases - excluding alchohol and tobacco. Here are the steps you need to take to make that happen:
Print off the attached form and fill in your Randall's number off your Remarkable card. The Anderson H.S. Lacrosse charity number is 12454 and is already printed on it.. Sign it and turn in to a Randall's customer service desk. That's it! If you do not want to print the attached form or forget, this can all be done at the customer service desk the next time you are in. Just remember our number is 12454 as they will need that for us to get credit.

Our Mailing Address:
Our mailing address is: Anderson HS Lacrosse, 3571 Far West Blv. #190, Austin, TX 78731. From now on, all "financial obligations" should go to this address. This coming summer and next year, anytime anything is ordered or during registration, we will have all checks sent here when they are mailed. We will have that labeled on all the forms as a reminder. Also, make sure all checks are marked what they are being paid for in the "For" field. |
